With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, Roy Yip is a seasoned leader and the founder of two successful hotel groups: Bauhinia Group, established in 2008, and R Hotel Group, founded in 2015. Under his guidance, these groups have built a robust portfolio of 25 assets and more than 2,000 hotel rooms across Japan and Greater China.

Roy has played a pivotal role in introducing R Hotel Group to the Japanese market since 2014. His keen eye for opportunities, combined with deep market insights and strong local partnerships, has allowed him to create a vertically integrated platform that covers underwriting, due diligence, development and construction, property management, and asset management.

James Wong is the Chairman of the Chinney Group. The Group's four publicly listed Hong Kong subsidiaries - Hon Kwok Land (0160.hk), Chinney Investments (0216.hk), Chinney Alliance (0385.hk), and Chinney Kin Wing (1556.hk) - are renowned for their expertise in real estate investment and advanced engineering projects.

The Group has expanded its $20+ billion portfolio across the US, Canada, and Greater China, delivering above-market returns through flagship projects including the 80-storey Hon Kwok Tower in Shenzhen, a premier data center in Hong Kong and the installation of air traffic control at the Hong Kong International Airport. This 2600+ person family business was founded by his great grandfather in Nanjing in the 1920’s to build China’s railway system.

Mr. Wong has over 30 years of experience in economics, law, management, and information systems. The Chinney Group has successfully expanded into international markets, especially in North America and Asia, with strategic investments in residential, office, and hospitality sectors. He actively serves on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Hong Kong and  chairs the ULI Greater Bay Area Council, he is also the President of the Hong Kong PropTech Association.
